To make your discovery of our millennial capital city all the easier we have put together a varied programme for a day in Luxembourg.

PROGRAMME

10.30 am
Arrival by coach in Luxembourg. Meet your experienced guide of the Luxembourg City Tourist Office at Place de la Constitution (coach stop). Combined tour of the City (by bus and on foot) lasting 2.5 hours: the railway station quarter, the European Centre, the banking quarter, the ancient suburbs, the government quarter, the Corniche, the old part of the City, the Palace of the Grand Dukes (from outside).

1 pm
Lunch with Luxembourgish culinary specialities. Free time for shopping after lunch.
 
3-5 pm
Circuit Wenzel: Departure in front of the Luxembourg City Tourist Office. Two- hour stroll through the upper and lower parts of the City, from the “Bock” promontory along the restored Wenceslas Wall and through the valley of the River Alzette with all its extraordinary fortifications. This tour has been listed as an exemplary cultural itinerary by the Council of Europe.
