Post Office

The Post Office in the Upper Town was located since 1869 in the former baracks of the Prussian garrison "beim Piquet".

The building needed quickly a major enlargement due to the swift evolution of the postal system.

The architect Sosthène Weis (1872-1941)built today's Main Post Office in the Renaissance style (1908-1910).
