PRINTEMPS MUSICAL

Organised by the Tourist Office of the City of Luxembourg, "Printemps Musical" offers a varied, high-quality programme. In addition to classical concerts, including by tradition the winners of the Belgian Queen Elisabeth music competition, the repertoire includes jazz, ballet or song. These concerts take place at the Conservatoire, the Théâtre Municipal, the Villa Louvigny, the Théâtre des Capucins or the Cathedral of Notre-Dame or at the concert hall "Den Atelier".

SUMMER IN THE CITY

Under the general title of "Summer in the City", the city of Luxembourg presents a wide range of original events from June to September: concerts, ballets, street theatre, open-air projections, sculpture exhibitions in public places, markets, festivals, sports and folk shows, etc. The majority of the attractions at this summer festival taken place in the open air. The programme features several cultural "highlights" such as "Rock um Knuedler", "Blues’n Jazzrallye", "LUXGSM Festival" and "Streeta(rt)nimation".

From October to November, this festival offers a wide range of rock, pop, jazz and blues concerts.

The "Winter Lights" festival covers a wide range of events, all of which contribute to creating a unique Winter festival atmosphere. The programme combines traditional and new events: St Nicolas procession, St Nicolas market in the "Place de Paris", Christmas market and public concerts in the "Place d’Armes", exhibitions, etc.
