Lunchtime concerts: The other lunch break!

Fancy a different kind of lunch break? Then forget about the canteen and enjoy a free 60 minutes long concert! During the autumn and winter season, between October and March, the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) organizes the popular series of lunchtime concerts, with high profile musicians of all genres, and in different locations of the capital. The goal is to offer a chilling alternative during lunch break, and to offer free musical journeys twice a month. All concerts start at 12.30 p.m. and are free of charge.

Every year, the program offers a variety of piano, guitar and harp recitals, guitar, classical indian music, italian opera aries and even military music, always with smaller ensembles.

The lunchtime concerts are organized by the Luxembourg City Tourist Office (LCTO) in cooperation with the City of Luxembourg, the Ministry of Culture, Agence luxembourgeoise d'Action Culturelle, Auditorium Cité, the Conservatoire de Musique, the Protestant Church and St Michaels Church.

The 2011/2012 season was highly successful, with several concerts being sold out. The LCTO will present the program of the 2012/2013 season in September 2012.
