Inspired by the true story of Ireland's biggest cocaine seizure in 2007, The Young Offenders is a comedy road movie about best friends Conor and Jock, two inner-city teenagers from Cork who dress the same, act the same, and even have the same bum-fluff mustaches...
« It's the most perceptive comic portrait of the adolescent male since The Inbetweeners, but with a naturalism that is unexpectedly disarming. » (Observer)
« A lovely lo-fi charmer. » (Time Out)
« Writer-director Peter Foott fills the film with slapstick and with plenty of scabrous, witty dialogue. » (Independent)

Irish Films for St. Patrick's Week
This film is being screened as an extension of the « British and Irish Film Season » (BIFS) that is organised annually each September. Following the success of screening a few Irish films over the St Patrick's week in 2013, 2017 now sees two of Ireland's best films of the last 9 months, both having had their World Premiers at the Galway Film Fleadh in July 2016.
