Are you a fan of architecture? Take a trip along the historic facades of the railstation neighbourhood until you reach the modern sculptures and contemporary architecture of a futuristic quarter, the Kirchberg plateau. This tour is surprisingly diverse!
• 9.30 am
Arrival in Luxembourg with your coach. An experienced guide from the Luxembourg City Tourist Office will meet your group on Place de la Constitution (bus stop for tour buses). Threehour architecture walk around the Gare neighbourhood: Plateau Bourbon and its historic buildings, Art Nouveau and Art Deco from the end of the 19th and start of the 20th century!
• 1 pm
Lunch at MUDAM*. This extraordinary museum designed by the architect I.M. Pei displays more than 200 pieces in an exhibition space of over 6,000m2.
After lunch, a guided tour of the museum.
• 3 pm
‘Architecture and art in the public space in Kirchberg’. This three-hour tour will show you the modern sculptures and contemporary architecture of this area, outdoor works of art, banks with refined architecture, museums, sports centres and even parks.
