2016 marks the 350th anniversary of the choice of Our Lady as the Patron Saint of Luxembourg City. On 10 October 1666, in the presence of the governor, the prince of Chimay, the keys of the city were offered to the Comforter of the Afflicted, who is particularly revered during the time of the Octave, the traditional pilgrimage to the Virgin Mary.
Discover the highlights of the Octave through a full-day program combining religious heritage with the worship of the faithful, at the heart of Luxembourg City.
